Whiter shade of pale

I think I have modified the meaning of the phrase totally.. but what the heck.. am not grammatically wrong ๐Ÿ˜€ ๐Ÿ˜€

I searched deep within
A whiter shade of pale
A husk of nothingness
In the arms of sweeping gale
Futile it seemed,
but how can one stop ?
With every passing wave
A world unfurls, agape
A crystal maze it is,
Twisted to its core
But there is logic in randomness
if you look onto your dreams
Different shades of colors
Wrapped in two-pore
An eyes that never blinks
And a heart that never sinks
They walk together forever
An inseperable pair as one can see
For when despair knocks your door
How far can hope be?
For even in the darkest night,
Hides, a whiter shade of pale
And when the storms pass by,
And darkness rescinds,
It lives to tell the taleย

  1. Firstly, lovely title.

Secondly, “But there is logic in randomness” brings out an essence about the way the world functions – if we wish to look at the larger picture!

“An eyes that never blinks” – a syntactic flaw, guess an oversight. Sorry I generally pick such things. lol. I will be glad to receive return favours too.

“For when despair knocks your door
How far can hope be?” – I have often asked the same question; perhaps just the fact that we sleep at the end of horrible days thinking that tomorrow will BE – irrespective of how it will be – is some symbol of hope.

“For even in the darkest night,
Hides, a whiter shade of pale
And when the storms pass by,
    And darkness rescinds,
It lives to tell the tale” – magnificent closing lines. Stupendous! Kudos!

    • Nah. I meant it. Eyes that never blink== vacant eyes staring at nothingness… filled with despair..

Heart that never sinks .. full of hope..

despair n hope walk together.. thats what I meant ๐Ÿ™‚
